My name is Emily (aka Emiline). I’m in my late-20′s and I’m a web designer living in Virginia with my boyfriend and three cats. I’ve always been artsy but have never really seriously studied photography (though I’ve always liked taking pictures). I recently upgraded to my first real DSLR so I’ve decided to do Project 365 this year so I can learn my new camera and hopefully become a better photographer in general. If you like food, I also have a food blog with lots of food photography, some of which will be cross-posted here.

Cameras
All pictures prior to Dec. 28th, 2009, were taken with a Kodak Z650, which was a nice, inexpensive, beginner camera. But I definitely outgrew it so I’ve upgraded to a Canon EOS 500D.
Lenses
Prime: Canon EF 50mm f/1.8
Telephoto/Zoom: Sigma 50-200mm f4-5.6 DC OS or Canon EF-S 18-55mm (ie the kit lens)
