Not as slow as they are made out to be

This was taken in the pond behind my apartment. There are a lot turtles in there, but they hardly ever come out because there’s always a ton of kids around who try to catch them. This one was sunbathing and I didn’t think I got the shot because he jumped in the water so fast, but apparently I got it. It looks kind of like he’s standing on top the water, but there’s a branch or something under there.
